  • Christmas Season

Well it has been awhile since I have written here.
    School has been pretty intense.
    But finally!
    Christmas Break!
    Oh wait...excuse me..
    Holiday Break!
What has the world come to...
I am not against any other Holiday traditions celebrated by any other religions or families.
    But really?
I feel like people will just do anything these days to get money, bring some distress into people's lives, and just bring up unnecessary problems that never really needed to be fixed!
My family has known this 8th grade teacher for a long time.
He told us a story of how one of his students came up to him and asked if it was ok to have sex before marriage.
The teacher said that it is probably better to wait until marriage.
The student told her parents this and do you know what they did?
    They sued him!
They later dropped the charges because people started giving them grief.
But why would parents sue someone who is trying to help their child!?
So this HOLIDAY season..I encourage you to stop.
Take a look at the world.
    And just pray.
Pray for the hungry, for the poor, for the lonely, for the holiday spirit to touch everyone's heart

  • Random Fact, Thought, or Word of the Day

    Twilight the Movie:
[Note: I am not going to be denouncing this movie at all in this blog.]
I've, of course, noticed how big the books and movie has gotten.
And for me, I have always not liked to follow the crowd.
But this movie seems really good.
The only thing I have against it is,
Romantic movies always made me feel so..lonely.
    Haha.
Well I am off to watch it now.

  • Random Fact, Thought, or Word of the Day

    Black Friday:
I have never really understood why stores chose the day after Thanksgiving to have all these outrageously great sales.
    I'm not against it..
    I've just always wondered why.
  • Thanksgiving

This thanksgiving, I felt that I should be thankful for the little things.
I think I always was thankful for the obvious things, but this year, I'm going to try and pick out the small happenings that I really should be grateful for.
So my list of things I am thankful for are:
-silverware [i would not be able to eat easily without them]
    -napkins [self-explanatory]
-socks [they keep my feet safe from blisters and other foot pains]
-water bottles [keep me hydrated wherever i go]
-hairbrush [to keep others from being revolted at the sight of my hair]
-cell phone charger [i would have no way of communicating w/ my parentals or friends while on the move]
    -comics [amuses me during breakfast]
-birds [a nice way to wake up in the morning]
    -cushioned chairs [self-explanatory]
    -toilet seats [self-explanatory]
-colored construction paper [can be used for just about ANY art project]
-clothes hangers [keep my clothes nice and neat]

and there are certainly many more things i am thankful for.
but i do not feel like typing them at the moment.
